Katalin Vinczi-Sierra, MSW, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

My path to social work started when I worked in the child protection field in the United Kingdom (UK). Becoming a therapist was a natural progression in terms of helping children to overcome their traumatic experiences. During my time, I worked in various London boroughs and with the UK’s national mental-health service for youth.

Following relocation to the US, I earned my third Master’s degree. This allowed me to expand my focus to support adults, couples and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges.  Collaboratively we will work to process any unresolved issues that might influence how you react in the present moment.

With children and adolescents, the goal of therapy is to equip them and their caregivers with practical skills and strategies for managing behavioral challenges and a variety of emotional issues. At times, I may use the arts and play as a medium to communicate and engage with children and adolescents.

It is my goal to create a safe space for clients as they dive into life’s challenges. I look forward to working with clients as they develop and feel empowered through their lifetime!

When I am not at work, I am playing the role of supermom.

Warm regards,
Katalin
